Universal Handwriting

Grade Levels: Grade School

PROGRAM FEATURES

PROGRAM FEATURES

The Universal Handwriting program for grades PreK-6 is designed to guide students on a step-by-step journey to handwriting excellence. It begins with engaging coloring book activities in preschool-kindergarten that develop fine motor skills and introduce basic strokes and letter shapes in a fun, creative way. As students progress, they move into manuscript writing, mastering the formation of letters and words with precision. By third grade, they transition to beginning cursive writing, focusing on fluidity and connections between letters. In the upper grades, students refine their skills with advanced cursive writing, emphasizing speed, consistency, and style. These thoughtfully sequenced programs ensure students develop strong, legible handwriting at every stage, building confidence and laying a solid foundation for lifelong written communication.
