The workbook engages the entire community by providing content for the formation of all families at home, in the parish, and in the Catholic school. Our Catholic Identity workbooks follow the structure of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

The content of each workbook presents what Catholics

• believe – doctrine
• celebrate – Liturgy and Sacraments
• live – morality
•  pray – Christian prayer

The content of each session is reinforced by an activity that helps the learners demonstrate their understanding of the material. In addition to the Catholic truths, learners become familiar with Catholic traditions that illustrate our Catholic beliefs through the “Our Catholic Tradition” boxes acquainting learners with the lives of the faithful and the practices of our faith. “With Family or Friends” activity boxes invite family members and peers to extend learning and understanding by responding to further activities found in each session. Learners build and reinforce their faith vocabulary, which is highlighted and defined in the glossary. To strengthen each learner’s Catholic identity, a treasury of prayers and practices is included.

Presented in six parts: The Old Testament; The Coming of Jesus; The Teachings of Jesus; The Works of Jesus; The Last Days of Jesus on Earth; The Holy Spirit and the Church.
